Political Power and Women's Representation in Latin America [revised comps]

The publisher chose two of the initial layouts and requested for both to be resubmitted with sans serif typographic solutions and for the supplied art to be presented in different colors.

Less Risk, More Return [comps & revised comps]

Lee Hull

Still in process and trying to simplify. First round we decided the imagery was too typical and perhaps overused. We went in a different direction for second round and used more illustration. Now we are working on a typographic solution. Design is a process, and it is interesting to contemplate the many avenues a cover can travel. Each has a different feel, and will attract a different audience.

Philadelphia Stories [revised comps]

Samuel Otter : Oxford University Press

The publisher liked the bottom layout from the first comps and wanted a few other options that had a similar feel. The first group of comps looked too much like fiction so these comps are more traditional and scholarly.

We are sticking with the metallic gold and black combo but I tweaked the type and image crop from the first round of comps. These two are under consideration.

We Are an Indian Nation [revised comps]

The publisher requested a more traditional, scholarly approach than the first round of comps. The blue and orange roughs are under consideration.
